Well I've been antsy to get away for almost 2 years now....since it was spring break we decided to take the week off with Jonah and pack up ALL the kids and hit the road!!! John managed to get all of our stuff and all of us (five of us!) into the little Vue. He is the master packer!!! We hit the road....ready to go!!

Our first stop on this road trip....SHOPPING! We made a pit stop in Vacaville to the outlet malls!!! Did allot of shopping for Nana....including this awesome pair of shoes!

After a few hours of shopping we were all spent....so we jumped back in the car and headed off to San Fran. We got ourselves checked into our favorite hotel and set out to check out the room!!

We decided to try something new for dinner so we headed out to Joe's Crab Shack....
The boys enjoyed the food....

All Nana got was this binky :(

The restaurant was fun....the waitresses danced and Nana LOVED it!!

The next night we had Bubba Gumps for dinner...a San Fran tradition for us. Now I have to tell you -- Bubba will always have a special place in my heart, but I have found a new love - Joe!!!
The next day, we headed down to the San Fransisco Zoo. The boys had allot of fun....

Saw lots of animals...

This is what Nana thought of the zoo...

Next stop, Aquarium....Nana loved the fishies

The boys loved touching the sharks and bat rays (surprised?)

We started out our last day in San Fran with a hearty breakfast...
Then off to the Golden Gate Bridge and the beach!!!!

After allot of fun on the beach, we hit the road and started off for home. One pit stop along the way....our pastor has been raving for months about this Italian restaurant in Roseville - Bucca di Beppos. We just had to try it. So we stopped on the way home - only to discover once we walked in that we had already been there before...Oh well!!!!
The drive home was long...John and I were exhausted. Nana pooped - nothing like changing your baby in the car on the side of the road :( - then she slept. The boys played....

Well, that's it!!! We had a blast....hope you enjoyed the photos!
